Aufgaben

• Prepare, terminate, polish and test fiber cable assemblies per customer specs.
• Prepare various cable types (armored/non-armored, outside plant, loose tube, tight buffer, etc.).
• Polish and test fiber connectors (LC, LC/APC, SC/SCAPC, ST, MTP/MPO, MTRJ, F).
• Read and interpret customer technical drawings and work orders.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform other duties as assigned.

This is a full time, first shiftposition

The hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Responsibilities of the Assembler Associate Include:

• Prepare, terminate, polish and test fiber cable assemblies according to customer specifications.
• Prepare different types of cables: armored and non-armored cables, outside plant cables, loose tube, tight buffer micro distribution and others per customers' request.
• Polish and test a variety of fiber connectors: LC, LC/APC, SC/SCAPC, ST, MTP/MPO, MTRJ, F.
• Ability to read and understand customers' technical drawings.
• Read, interpret, and follow detailed written work orders.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience:

• 1-3+ years related assembling experience in fiber cable assembly preferred but willing to train
• Hands on experience in assembly of electro -mechanical products, preferably connector or cable assemblies

Candidates must be able to read and interpret work instructions in English, possess effective communication skills, and a professional demeanor. You should be punctual and reliable as this is a very important support position.
