Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Lineperson to join our aerial crew for large-scale fiber-to-the-home construction projects in West Virginia. The role involves planning and executing work, ensuring safety, and guiding the team to meet project goals.

You will work from bucket trucks to place cable equipment and ensure proper installation and securing of fiber according to engineering specs and industry standards. The position requires climbing poles, operating a bucket truck, and traveling within West

Qualifications

• Experience as lineperson or team lead on a fiber installation crew.
• CDL A license is a plus.
• Ability to climb utility poles and operate a bucket truck.
• Knowledge of strand, lashing, grounding, and pole transfers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bucket trucks and/or other types of lifts.
• Setup and operate cable placing equipment such as Larson reels, fiber blowers, cable tuggers, cable rollers, and single or double lashing tools.
• Install strand and applicable hardware.
• Place fiber optic, coax cables, and traceable wires.
• Track and communicate daily production and materials.
