Job summary

Ledcor Group is hiring a Lineperson to support aerial fiber-to-the-home construction projects. You will plan and execute work from bucket trucks, ensure safety, and guide the team to meet project goals.

You will be involved in daily planning and execution of aerial and underground fiber construction, placing cables to engineering specs and industry standards. West Virginia travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of lineperson or team lead experience on a fiber crew.
• Active CDL A is a plus.
• Ability to climb utility poles using spikes and work in a bucket truck.
• Knowledge of strand, lashing, pole transfers & grounding.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bucket trucks and/or other types of lifts.
• Set up and operate cable placing equipment such as Larson reels, fiber blowers, cable tuggers, cable rollers, and lashing tools.
• Install strand and applicable hardware.
• Place fiber optic, coax cables and traceable wires.
• Track and communicate daily production and materials.
