Zaden Technologies is seeking a senior healthcare interoperability engineer to own the FHIR R4 design for a DoD health data exchange platform. You will drive US Core profiling, capability statements, and implementation guides while transitioning services from legacy SOAP to FHIR interfaces.
You will collaborate with the interface team, run HAPI FHIR in production, and present standards decisions in government reviews. A clearance and citizenship are required.
This position is contingent upon contract award. It supports a new Defense Health Agency program, and the start date follows award and Government access.
You’ll own the FHIR R4 design for a health data exchange platform that’s moving from SOAP services to FHIR one interface at a time, with the legacy exchanges running 24x7 the whole way. You’ll write and defend the profiles, implementation guides and terminology bindings the new services run on, work with the interface team that keeps the HL7 v2 feeds flowing, and represent the program’s standards decisions to the Government.
Location: Remote within the United States. Zaden’s home office is Huntsville, Alabama.
Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required for the investigation this role needs.
Equal opportunity: Zaden Technologies is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status or any other status the law protects.
