Leidos is seeking full-time Mortgage Origination Professionals at the FHA Resource Center in Indianapolis, IN.
Our Leidos Customer Service team supports the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Single-Family Housing in their mission to create strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all.
As a Mortgage Origination Customer Service Representative, you will leverage your mortgage background—whether as a Loan Processor, Loan Officer, Underwriter, or other loan origination professional—to make a positive impact and expand your knowledge of Federal Housing Administration (FHA) mortgage policies and procedures.

Mortgage Origination opportunities:
Full-time (30 - 40 hours per week)
Working hours: 10:00 am - 6:30 pm ET in Indianapolis, IN (subject to change based on customer needs)
As a Mortgage Origination Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities include:
Providing excellent customer service via calls and emails regarding FHA guidelines and procedures
Utilizing your mortgage industry knowledge to find answers in a knowledge database
Following standard operating procedures across topics, systems, and contact channels
Documenting all contacts in a database
Staying updated on FHA mortgage processes and procedures
To succeed as a Mortgage Origination Customer Service Representative, you should have:
Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems and search tools
Excellent time management and dependability
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette
Keyboarding speed of at least 40 words per minute
Required qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
FHA knowledge/background
At least 2 years of mortgage origination experience (e.g., loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, loan officer)
At least 1 year of contact center or telephone customer service experience
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, including a credit check and background investigation
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in Contact Center (Omnichannel)

**Pay for this position ranges from $20 to $22 per hour.**
This position is covered under the Service Contract Act, subject to minimum wage and benefits requirements. Leidos will ensure compliance with all provisions through wages and benefits.
