Job summary

CraftMark Bakery seeks a dependable Finished Goods Handler to operate a forklift in a cold storage setting and manage pallet storage and order pulling on a full-time night shift. You will contribute to inventory accuracy and keep paperwork up to date while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires completing cycle counts, maintaining equipment knowledge, and supporting continuous improvement of food safety and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience.
• Experience in a freezer/cold storage environment preferred.
• Will follow all food safety policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Put finished goods pallets away into storage racks.
• Pull orders for shipments.
• Take cycle count inventories.

• Report mechanical problems to supervisor and maintenance.

Job description

The Finished Goods Handler safely uses a forklift to move product into storage area or in position for shipping. Work is typically completed in a cold/refrigerated space.

Essential Functions

• Put finished good pallets away into storage racks
• Pull orders for shipments
• Take cycle count inventories
• Maintain required paperwork
• Report any mechanical problems to supervisor and Maintenance
• Maintain up to date knowledge of machinery in work area
• Keep work area clean and free ofdebris
• Other duties as assigned
• Comply with all safety policies, procedures and good work practices
• Participates in audits where assigned (Safety, GMP, 5S, etc.)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, working nights. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of 2 Years of Forklift experience
• Experience in a Freezer/Cold storage environment preferred

• Will follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Will support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the CraftMark Bakery Food Safety and Quality Systems.
• Will be accountable to the CraftMark Bakery Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.

Pay: Starting off at $20.00 per hour + Shift differential + Freezer
