Job summary

CraftMark Bakery, LLC is seeking a Finished Goods Handler to operate a forklift in our cold storage environment. This full-time night shift involves moving finished goods, pulling shipments, and maintaining paperwork while adhering to safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications include at least 2 years of forklift experience and preferably experience in freezer/cold storage. Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour with shift differential and freezer duties noted.

• Keep work area clean and free of debris.
• Participate in audits (Safety, GMP, 5S)

Job description

The Finished Goods Handler safely uses a forklift to move product into storage area or in position for shipping. Work is typically completed in a cold/refrigerated space.

Essential Functions

• Put finished good pallets away into storage racks
• Pull orders for shipments
• Take cycle count inventories
• Maintain required paperwork
• Report any mechanical problems to supervisor and Maintenance
• Maintain up to date knowledge of machinery in work area
• Keep work area clean and free ofdebris
• Other duties as assigned
• Comply with all safety policies, procedures and good work practices
• Participates in audits where assigned (Safety, GMP, 5S, etc.)

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, working nights. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of 2 Years of Forklift experience
• Experience in a Freezer/Cold storage environment preferred

• Will support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the CraftMark Bakery Food Safety and Quality Systems.
• Will be accountable to the CraftMark Bakery Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
