Job summary

Clifford Beers Community Care Center seeks a clinician to deliver FFT-based family therapy for youths aged 10–18. The role involves weekly one-hour home visits, caseload management, and flexible scheduling across Greater New Haven.

You will collaborate with child welfare, juvenile justice, schools, and other professionals to support families over 8–26 weeks. Responsibilities include assessing family dynamics, planning targeted goals, ensuring safety, and maintaining detailed documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Active licensure-eligible status is preferred (examples: LMSW/LCSW/LMFT-A/LMFT LPC-A or LPC).

Responsibilities

• Deliver FFT-based therapy to youth and families to reduce conflict and improve communication.
• Conduct home and community visits with families.
• Assess dynamics and plan treatment with safety considerations.
• Provide crisis intervention during behavioral flare-ups.
• Maintain session notes and entry data in clinical databases.
• Collaborate with child welfare, juvenile justice, schools, and other professionals.
• Ensure fidelity to FFT treatment phases: Engagement, Motivation, Relational Change, Behavior Change.
