FFS Therapist for Midtown Substance Abuse Program

Job Summary: An outpatient substance abuse treatment facility is seeking highly motivated Counselors/therapists to facilitate in-person and virtual individual and group counseling sessions for FFS and salaried positions. The role offers flexibility in scheduling but requires a minimum of 15 hours of client contact per week, with paid supervision and ongoing training.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide substance abuse treatment, including group, individual, and family counseling, and crisis intervention.
  • Facilitate groups and provide individual counseling for clients.
  • Complete documentation such as treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes.
  • Coordinate with medical and psychiatric providers and ensure client examinations are completed.
  • Attend case conferences, supervision, and staff meetings.
  • Maintain credentials and participate in training.
  • Provide referrals and assist clients in accessing services.
  • Participate in intake, outreach, and family counseling.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, adhering to agency policies.

Qualifications: CASAC, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or MSW (must obtain license within 6 months if not licensed). Experience with substance use disorders, LGBTQ+ populations, or MICA preferred. Immediate hire.
