Empire Office is currently seeking an experienced FF&E Supply Chain Manager to join our growing and dynamic team in NY. Metro NY preferred, but remote will be considered. As the FF&E Supply Chain Manager, this individual will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination, efficiency, and excellence in the sourcing of FF&E solutions. We are seeking an individual with a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, requiring both senior-level insight and operational follow-through. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management, made-to-order manufacturing, factory relationships, QC procedures, logistics, and a deep understanding of the hospitality/contact and residential B2B industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with company objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain initiatives with overall business goals.
  2. Supplier Vetting and Management:
    • Identify and evaluate FF&E suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and agreements, with a focus on overseas manufacturers/factories.
    • Qualify and vet overseas factories to ensure capabilities, experience, and quality meet production needs.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Travel to visit potential and existing factories to establish/strengthen relationships and inspect production on active projects.
  3. RFP Development and Execution:
    • Lead the preparation, coordination, and execution of RFPs for factories.
    • Ensure RFPs reflect design intent, quality expectations, timelines, and pricing targets.
    • Analyze bids to identify the best partner based on cost, quality, and capability.
  4. Logistics and Distribution:
    • Oversee international logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of FF&E products.
    • Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize distribution networks and minimize lead times.
  5. Inventory Management:
    • Implement inventory control measures to minimize costs while meeting customer demands.
    • Develop inventory replenishment strategies to ensure product availability.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Establish quality control processes to uphold product standards, including raw materials, construction, finishing, packing, and tagging.
    • Work with suppliers on continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  7. Cost Optimization:
    • Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction within the supply chain.
    • Monitor key performance indicators related to cost and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Salary Range: $80,000 – $150,000 (dependent on experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in FF&E supply chain management, with manufacturing knowledge and focus on hospitality and residential B2B industries.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable international, federal, state, and local laws affecting procurement and importation of FF&E.
  • Proven success in managing supply chain operations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
