Job summary

Sutter Health's SPMF-Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation – South seeks an experienced OB/MFM sonographer to perform comprehensive obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine ultrasound exams. You will evaluate fetal anatomy, placental location, amniotic fluid, and Doppler studies, while ensuring quality care and ALARA principles.

Requires ARDMS OB, BLS and ACLS, 2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with RIS/LIS/EHR/PACS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program.
• ARDMS OB certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent obstetric ultrasound experience.
• Proficient in RIS/LIS/EHR/PACS environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic OB and maternal-fetal medicine ultrasounds with proficiency.
• Evaluate fetal anatomy, placental location, and amniotic fluid status.
• Guide amniocentesis and manage TTTS/TAPS monitoring for twins.
• Produce preliminary ultrasound reports and communicate findings.
• Maintain ALARA principles and ensure patient privacy.
