Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Feta Laborer I to support packaging operations in the feta department. You will perform daily packaging, vacuum packing, and sanitation tasks while ensuring quality checks and GMP compliance.

This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and safe operation. The position offers a starting wage of $24.73 per hour with two pay increases within a year, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), PTO from day one, holidays, tuition assistance,

Qualifications

  • Effective communication, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, HACCP).
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily packaging duties.
  • Perform vacuum packing as required.
  • Monitor block forms and extensions to maintain coagulator system supply.
  • Complete required paperwork and quality checks.
  • Wash tubs as required.
  • Perform Master Sanitation/CIP duties as required.
  • Set up the packaging lines for the next day.
  • Complete tasks safely and follow GMP and safety rules.

Job Type: Regular The Feta Laborer I position is responsible for completing a variety of packaging and CIP duties to assist with the safe and efficient operation of the feta department. Starting Wage $24.73/HR Two pay increases within a year, up to $1.00 3 PM - 3 AM | 2,2,3 Schedule Double time pay on Sunday

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • No experience required; in-house training provided.
  • Communicate well both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.
  • Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
  • Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Decisions administered soundly and consistently with policies and in compliance with appropriate laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
