Job summary

Paradise Valley Unified School District is seeking a Festival Volleyball Coach for Mountain Trail Middle School. The role entails designing and implementing the volleyball program, supervising staff and student athletes, and ensuring compliance with district rules and safety standards.

You will provide feedback on performance, develop training regimens, and coordinate game plans while serving as a positive role model in the PVUSD community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Arizona Teaching Certificate or Arizona Coaching Certificate preferred.
• Criminal Background Clearance and IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Fundamentals of Coaching, First Aid/CPR, sport-specific course or equivalent may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess student athletes for performance and team placement.
• Develop practice regimes (strength, speed, agility, nutrition, injury prevention).
• Create game strategies and scouting opponent strengths/weaknesses.
• Supervise coaches, volunteers, and student managers.
• Maintain athletic records and eligibility in compliance with district rules.
