Job summary

Paradise Valley High School is seeking an Assistant Girls Volleyball Coach to support the varsity and junior varsity programs. The role is temporary with an Addendum position and a 1.0 FTE commitment, located at Paradise Valley High School.

The coach will design and implement sport activities, supervise student athletes, monitor academic eligibility, and maintain essential records while promoting safety and sportsmanship within a positive school environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize events, schedules, and records.

Responsibilities

• Assess student athletes for feedback on performance and team placement.
• Instruct student athletes to promote growth in skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Maintain records (stats, forms, schedules, inventories) to meet requirements.
• Monitor academic eligibility and provide interventions as needed.
• Supervise athletes to ensure a safe environment during participation.
• Teach sports techniques, rules, strategies, and tactics for competition.
