Insomniac Events is seeking a motivated Entertainment Makeup Artist to join our team. Focus on costume and character makeup for performers at high-energy events and festivals. Reports to the Entertainment Director and works with a dynamic production crew.

The role requires a diploma in cosmetology or 3+ years of makeup experience, strong knowledge of makeup tools, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments. Travel to events may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in cosmetology or 3+ years of makeup experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of makeup & tools.
• Knowledge of latest makeup products, services and techniques.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in live entertainment or events is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Execute makeup looks styled to approved designs for performers.
• Collaborate with lead artist or director to achieve the desired end result.
• Work with performers during show run, rehearsals, and changes.
• Read look books to determine materials and looks required.
• Ensure makeup is photo-ready in day and night settings.
• Assist with quick changes and touch ups during shows.
