Insomniac Events is seeking an Entertainment Makeup Artist to join our team, focusing on costume and character makeup for performers at our events. You will work with the Entertainment Director and lead artists to deliver high-quality looks, ensuring they are photo-ready during rehearsals and performances.

The role requires cosmetology experience, knowledge of live entertainment, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Diploma in cosmetology or 3+ years in makeup.
• Hands-on knowledge of makeup and tools.
• Knowledge of live entertainment and Insomniac brands/shows.
• Experience in entertainment, theater, or live events is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Execute makeup looks for performers according to approved designs.
• Ensure makeup looks are photo-ready for day and night settings.
• Collaborate with lead artist/director for desired outcomes.
• Assist with quick changes and touch-ups during shows.
• Document looks with photos or makeup sheets for future use.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety policies.
