TeamHealth is proud to partner with UF Health to staff a free standing emergency department in The Villages, Florida. UF Health Brownwood FSED is a modern, 25,000-square-foot facility featuring state-of-the-art trauma bays, the latest in diagnostic imaging technology including CT and X-ray, and laboratory and respiratory therapy services. The emergency department offers quality care from seasoned healthcare experts 24 hours a day.

Job Description

Join our team at UF Health Brownwood FSED, a modern 25,000-square-foot facility in The Villages, Florida, providing 24/7 emergency care with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services. We are seeking board-certified or eligible physicians in emergency medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine with emergency experience, to work PRN, part-time, or full-time shifts.

Department Information

• 24/7 emergency care with X-ray, ultrasound, full lab, respiratory therapist, and CT available
• EMR: EPIC
• 28 beds including 2 trauma bays
• 12-hour shifts
• APC coverage

What We're Looking For

• PRN/part-time/full-time availability
• Board certification or eligibility in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM), or in family/internal medicine with emergency experience
• Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
• Completion of an accredited residency program
