Job summary

MacroSource is seeking an Operator in Kentland, IN to load trucks and railcars, and to transfer dry and liquid fertilizers with approved tools and conveyors. You will monitor pumps, valves, piping and automation for safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, ladder safety, and maintaining a clean facility. High school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and willingness to pass drug/background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to read and understand safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• English proficiency for safe operations in a safety-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and railcars with fertilizer using approved tools.
• Monitor production equipment, pumps, valves, and systems for safe operation.
• Transfer liquid fertilizer using pumps and conveying systems; perform basic maintenance.
• Follow ladder safety and maintain facilities and grounds.
