Job summary

AgVantage FS, headquartered in Waverly, Iowa, seeks an operations leader for its fertilizer/chemical facility to oversee daily activities, inventory management, blending and asset maintenance. You will collaborate with the area manager and location teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations while driving profitability.

Responsibilities include coordinating dispatch, handling billing and invoicing, and supporting sales during peak times.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with 3+ years in fertilizer facility operations.
• Demonstrates abilities in business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Obtain custom applicator license.
• CDL with endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service and billing information and invoicing to support inventory accuracy.
• Operates and maintains facility equipment in a safe, efficient, and economical way.
• Assist Plant Manager with fertilizer and crop protection inventory, ordering and month-end procedures.
• Operates blending and loading/unloading equipment, including trucks.
• Coordinate dispatch and scheduling across dry & liquid facilities.
• Assist in sales with prospective accounts and upgrades during non-blending season.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety compliance for facilities.
