Zusammenfassung

HTU in Summit, New Jersey is seeking an Operations Associate to support the Hub Manager with daily operations, maintenance, and accounting for the dry fertilizer hub.

You will work across Agronomy and Grain teams seasonally, unload shipments, operate pay-loaders and forklifts, perform routine facility maintenance, and enter orders into the system.

Strong communication, attention to detail, Excel/Outlook proficiency, and an operations background are preferred.

• Knowledge of fertilizers is helpful but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Operations background preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assisting the Hub Manager with operations, maintenance, and accounting for the dry fertilizer hub.
• Working between the Agronomy and Grain departments during appropriate seasons.
• Unloading fertilizer from train cars and semi-trailers into the correct hub compartments.
• Safely operating heavy equipment such as pay-loaders, forklifts, and pick-up trucks.
• Performing facility and equipment maintenance including cleaning, inspecting, greasing, lubricating, painting, and light mechanical, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Entering orders into the computer system for outbound loading onto semi-trailers, tender trucks, and spreader carts.
• Organizing paperwork and computer documents.
• Communicating with managers, personnel from serviced branches, headquarters, and some customers.
• Performing operations in the company computer accounting program.
