Role Overview: A Landscape Fertilization Technician is responsible for fertilizer and pesticide application, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply fertilizer and pesticides to lawns, trees, and shrubs as scheduled.
  • Manage weed control, shrub care, and aeration services.
  • Use proper application techniques in compliance with ODA standards.
  • Assist with estimates and perform service calls and inspections.
  • Provide excellent customer service and education on lawn care.
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and vehicles.
  • Perform snow removal during winter months.
  • Follow all company policies and perform additional duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Characteristics:

  • Availability for a varied schedule, including Saturdays.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Basic mechanical landscape equipment knowledge.
  • Ability to identify plants (preferred).
  • Knowledge of fertilization and pesticides (preferred).

Position Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license preferred with a suitable driving record.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to operate landscaping equipment.
