Job summary
US Fertility, the nation’s leading partnership of physician-led fertility practices, invites a Sonographer to join the Shady Grove Fertility team in Fairfax, Virginia. This part-time role offers weekend coverage: every other Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with compensation starting at $40+ per hour, commensurate with experience.
You’ll grow within a national network while staying closely connected to patients and teams you support.
Qualifications
- Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school.
- RDMS/RVT certification required.
- Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures.
- Ability to operate all ultrasound equipment used in this role.
- Prior experience with fertility patients strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as an ultrasound technologist in women’s health.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed examinations of anatomy/pathology.
- Make necessary measurements and calculations.
- Document results utilizing electronic medical records.
- Establish personal rapport with patients.
- Provide explanations of procedures.
