Michigan Medicine seeks a Lab Technician to support a busy Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Clinic. The role involves assisting with daily operations of the Assisted Reproductive Technologies Laboratory alongside embryologists and fertility specialists.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with six months of experience in a clinical reproductive medicine setting.
• Bachelor's degree in biological or related sciences.
• Working knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, and distribute patient blood components.
• Enter laboratory results into SOFT and EMR systems.
• Perform serological, immunological, and immunochemical tests for diagnosis.
• Identify and quantify all formed elements of the blood.
• Type and crossmatch blood.
• Maintain quality control on laboratory analyses.
