US Fertility's Reproductive Medicine Associates of NY in New York, NY is seeking a Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join the Eastside team. Schedule: five days, daytime hours, with a weekend day and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a biological or clinical laboratory science.
• Current NYS CLT licensure required.
• Ability to work in a high standard, stressful environment.
• Strong computer literacy and data input skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing; maintain clear, legible records of test results.
• Perform chemiluminescent immunoassays on serum samples using automated equipment; calibrate, clean and maintain equipment.
• Perform semen analyses including sperm count, motility, morphology and viability; maintain sterile technique.
• Maintain records showing PT samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Adhere to quality control policies; document calibrations and maintenance.
• Follow policies when test systems are outside acceptable performance; notify supervisors as needed.
• Identify problems affecting test performance; correct or escalate as required.
• Study operating manuals; adhere to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Participate in laboratory operations, meetings, proficiency testing and skill enhancement.
• Provide support to satellite laboratories as requested by Laboratory Manager.
