Job summary

You will load and unload vehicles and passengers, direct traffic with clear signals, stand lookout when required, secure lines, patrol decks, maintain cleanliness, serve as Emergency Helmsman, and collaborate with the crew to uphold safety and order aboard the vessel.

Qualifications

• CPR with AED, Standard First Aid, and BBP certification required.
• Emergency Helmsman certification required.
• Merchant Mariner Credential - AB or QMED endorsement within two years of hire.
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential required.

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicles and passengers to proper locations with clear signals and ensure safe egress.
• Handle lines, stand lookout when required, patrol decks, and maintain vessel cleanliness; act as Emergency Helmsman.
• Perform security sweeps and respond to emergencies to ensure passenger and vessel safety.
