Job summary

EMR Group USA is hiring a Yard Worker to assist with the day-to-day operations of the yard. You will work independently to complete daily tasks, sort and move recycling material, and help maintain equipment while following health and safety protocols.

Yard Worker

The General Laborer will assist with the general day-to-day operations of the yard. To be successful, you must be able to work independently to accomplish daily tasks.

What You'll Be Doing

• Clean and prepare sites by removing debris and possible hazards


• Assist in maintenance of equipment


• Sort and pick up recycling material


• Adhere to operating and health and safety protocols

• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

• Ability to use variety of hand tools such as snip cutters, brooms, shovels, etc.


• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment


• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently


• Ability to work overhead, climb ladders, kneel, and stand for long periods.

Education

• High School graduate or G.E.D.


• Previous experience using a forklift preferred.
