Job Description

ProSidian is seeking a FERMILAB Architect (FRA4) [Key Personnel | Senior Consultant - Exempt 874-1 Consultant], located in CONUS - Batavia, IL, 60510 (Remote), to provide Program/Project Management Solutions related to the Energy, Resources, & Industrials Sector for the Proton Improvement Plan II Project (PIP-II) Construction Administration Support Services on behalf of The Fermi Research Alliance, LLC (FRA). These services fall under the ProSidian Energy, Infrastructure, & Environment Sector Group, focusing on tailored solutions to meet global needs and manage resources across Energy, Infrastructure, & Environment sectors in a changing environment, under NAICS Code: 541330 - Engineering Services for the DOE Office of Science, with services also characterized as Construction Administration Support.

Job Overview

General Program Support by the Architectural Engineer

• Designing buildings and structures that are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Conducting site surveys and inspections to assess landscapes and environments, ensuring work progresses according to plan during construction.
• Developing and reviewing project plans, including construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Collaborating with professionals to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to standards.
• Evaluating building materials for strength, durability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact.
• Managing construction projects from start to finish, including scheduling, budgeting, and overseeing contractors.
• Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.

Qualifications

Required Education and Certifications

• Licensed in Illinois.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of building design, materials, codes, CAD, and engineering tools.
• Ability to solve complex building design and construction problems under deadlines and budget constraints.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with architects, contractors, and non-technical audiences.
• Effective team collaboration skills.
• High attention to detail.
