Job summary

Ajinomoto Health & Nutrition North America, Inc. is hiring for a fermentation/purification operator to monitor and control processes in a fast-paced bio-processing facility in Eddyville, IA. The role involves field work, lab testing, and strict adherence to safety and quality procedures.

The position operates on a rotating 12-hour schedule with specific days on/off patterns. Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience in food or feed manufacturing is preferred; strong teamwork

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and show a willingness to learn.
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, EMaint., SAP, Velocity, etc.).
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the fermentation/purification process through field work, communication, and lab testing.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards on shift.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment and lab instrumentation.
• Log data and documentation, and communicate process status to production management.
