  • Accurately document all work performed on repair orders.
  • Communicate findings, repair needs, and recommendations to Service Advisors or Shop Foreman.
  • Follow manufacturer repair procedures, technical service bulletins, and warranty guidelines.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
  • Adhere to all dealership safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and certification programs as required.
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality standards before vehicle release.
  • Assist with additional service department tasks as assigned.

Position Summary

The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest and dealership vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards. This role ensures vehicles are serviced efficiently and safely while delivering high-quality workmanship and supporting overall guest satisfaction.

  • Frequent use of hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and power tools.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and shop conditions.
  • Manual dexterity required for precision mechanical work.
Work Environment

Work is performed in an automotive service shop with exposure to vehicle noise, exhaust fumes, chemicals, and moving equipment in a fast-paced environment.
