Job summary

ERM is seeking a Consultant, Environmental Permitting FERC Specialist to support regulatory permitting for energy infrastructure nationwide. You will evaluate regulatory requirements, prepare technical documents, and work with multidisciplinary teams on pipelines, LNG terminals, and related projects.

Based anywhere in the United States, the role involves field and office activities, frequent travel up to 40%, and collaboration with clients and regulators to ensure compliant, sustainable project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a natural science or engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information clearly to staff, clients, and regulators.
• Experience with fieldwork and regulatory permitting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate regulatory requirements for energy infrastructure projects.
• Maintain records and survey reports; assist with technical project documents.
• Support project plans, schedules, and management reporting; communicate with clients.
