Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in wildlife science, wildlife management, natural resources, range science, agricultural science, biology, ecology, or closely related field.
• Two years of experience in wildlife management, natural resource management, agricultural production, wildlife damage management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate a statewide Extension program addressing feral hog management and related topics.
• Deliver educational programs and events for landowners, producers, wildlife managers, and professionals across Texas.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify priority questions and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Design, coordinate, and assist with applied research projects and result demonstrations.
• Develop Extension publications, fact sheets, and educational materials; translate peer‑reviewed research into practical guidance.
