Job summary

Fortune Brands is seeking an assembler for internal candidates to read drawings and assemble heads, sills, and jambs for fenestration products. You will prep rails, attach gaskets and hardware, and ensure parts meet quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires prior manufacturing experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with attention to detail and safety. Training on assembly drawings and continuous improvement will be provided.

Qualifications

• Active Solar Innovations Associate is required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; trade school or technical courses accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prep rails by attaching gaskets, hardware, and setting blocks.
• Assemble heads, sills, and jambs for fenestration products.
• Cut two-point rods and assemble the two-point mechanism.
• Inspect parts for defects before assembly.
• Communicate progress and issues to the Lead/Supervisor.
• Assist in continuous improvement within the department.
