Job summary

Apogee Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Estimator I to learn fenestration products, terminology and quoting tools. The role supports the Estimating Team with data entry, quote formatting and document preparation.

You will evaluate RFQs, identify missing information and escalate non-standard requests to senior estimators as needed. Training with a senior estimator aims to cover aluminum framing, hardware, glass types, and basic pricing processes, with an opportunity to grow across Tubelite, Wausau

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or related experience preferred.
• 1-5 years of estimating or closely related manufacturing or construction experience.
• Proactive, professional, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with RFQ evaluation and quote formation is a plus.
• Familiarity with pricing processes and tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Estimating Team with data entry, quote formatting and quote document preparation.
• Evaluates RFQ requests and identifies missing information or risks.
• Creates formal quotes/bids for standard quotes with supervision.
• Maintains and revises quote cost data as conditions change.
• Learns pricing tools and reads project specifications for pricing alignment.
