Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, invites you to build your future as a Fence Installation Driver with Reliable Onsite Services. In this role you will deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing equipment safely and on schedule, while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining clear communication with dispatch.

You’ll follow safety guidelines, inspect trucks and tools, coordinate with the Fence Installation Associate, and assist with loading,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• DOT medical card must be obtained before starting.
• 1 year of truck driving experience; CDL preferred.
• 2 years fencing/construction experience preferred.
• Safety-focused and able to operate forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs routinely and more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Safely operate a fencing truck and ensure load security.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Inspect fencing tools for safe operation.
• Load, unload, and carry equipment; restock for installations.
• Meet with customers to review fencing projects and follow up.
• Prepare job site and set fence poles; install and pull fence per specs.
• Coordinate and supervise Fence Installation Associate.
• Train others on safety protocols and installation techniques.
• Repair fencing units and provide onsite moves/deliveries as required.
• May operate forklift; assist with other equipment as needed.
