JENKINS FENCING LLC is seeking a Fence Laborer to support the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial fencing projects in the Metro East area.

Position Summary

The Fence Laborer assists with the preparation, installation, and finishing of fence systems while maintaining a safe and efficient job site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and works well as part of a team.

You will help with physical tasks throughout the fencing process—from site preparation and material handling to post-install cleanup—while following job specifications and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with fence installation tasks, including measuring support locations, digging or preparing post holes, and setting posts

• Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from job sites

• Support secure assembly of fence components according to project specifications and layout

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform basic site cleanup after installation

• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or concerns to the team lead

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working on job sites where safety and teamwork are emphasized

Compensation

Hourly rate: $18.00 - $20.00
