Job summary

National Construction Rentals, Inc. (NCR) is seeking a Fence Helper to assist the Fence Foreman in installing and maintaining fences according to NCR standards. You will participate in site setup, material loading, and on-site coordination with customers, while upholding safety and quality on every project.

The role requires physical work outdoors, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration within a team to ensure timely project completion. OSHA-style safety practices are a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and maintenance instructions.
• Capable of basic math with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with MVR per company guidelines; DOT medical card required for GVWR 10,000 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections and testing of vehicles and equipment for safe operation.
• Load trucks with equipment and materials for daily assignments and secure placement.
• Attend job sites with Foreman and review project details with customers.
• Install fence poles, erect fences and tension wire per NCR specifications.
• Keep job sites clean, remove debris and store equipment after each shift.
• Maintain and restock trucks and materials for future fence installations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety meetings.
