Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Fence Installer role based in Lehi, UT. The Fence Installer is responsible for assisting with site preparation, measuring and laying out fence lines, setting posts, installing panels, gates, and railings, and ensuring all installations meet company quality and safety standards. Daily tasks include using hand and power tools, loading and unloading materials, reading basic plans or work orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role also involves communicating with supervisors and team members, following safety protocols, and occasionally interacting with customers in a professional manner. The Fence Installer works outdoors in varying weather conditions and may be expected to lift and carry heavy materials throughout the workday.

Qualifications

• Hands-on construction skills, including basic carpentry, measuring, and use of hand and power tools.
• Experience or aptitude in fence, deck, or railing installation (chain link, vinyl, wood, iron, or composite materials preferred).
• Ability to read and follow work orders, drawings, or simple plans and to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to safety, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company and site safety procedures.
• Reliability in attendance, punctuality, and completing tasks with minimal oversight.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills, with a respectful and professional approach to coworkers and customers.
• Physical ability to work outdoors, stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy materials, and perform manual labor.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to travel to job sites in the Lehi, UT area.
• Previous experience in fencing, construction, or landscaping is beneficial but not required; training may be provided.
