Job summary

Long Fence, the industry leader for over 80 years, is seeking an experienced Fence Installer to join our team in Ijamsville, MD. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ construction experience as a laborer and be willing to learn all aspects of the job.

Responsibilities include installing fence, lifting up to 75 pounds, and using power tools such as drills, band saws, and grinders. Valid driver’s license and U.S. citizenship are required; pre-employment drug testing is mandatory.

Long® Fence, the industry leader for over 80 years is seeking an experienced Fence Installerto join our team based out of Ijamsville, MD.

The optimal candidate for this position will be familiar with fence installation. The candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' construction experience, specifically as a laborer, and must have a willingness to learn all aspects of the job.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Includes installing fence.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
• Proficiency with power tools, core drills, hammer drills, band saws, grinders, etc.
• Experience operating skid steers or aerial lifts is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-2 years' of hands on experience using power tools.
• Valid Driver's License
• 1-2 years' installation experience.
• U.S. Citizenship

Compensation:

• Minimum pay rate is $22.00 per hour
• Maximum pay rate is $25.00 per hour

Additional Requirements:

• All candidates must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test, which includes Marijuana. Medical Marijuana cards are not acceptable as a Federal Contractor.

• Ability to commute to the office daily.
