AtWork Personnel | Charlotte East seeks an experienced Fence Estimator to join a growing construction company serving the Southeast. Based in Indian Trail, NC, this on-site, full-time role focuses on accurate estimates and competitive bids for commercial, industrial, and DOT fencing projects.

You will review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, obtain supplier pricing, and collaborate with project teams to ensure precise pricing and successful bids.

Formación

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, estimating software, and bid preparation.
• Knowledge of commercial fencing systems, installation methods, and material pricing.
• DOT/public-agency estimating experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids for commercial, industrial, and DOT fencing projects.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform material and labor quantity takeoffs using estimating software.
• Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate project scopes and pricing.
• Manage multiple bids, deadlines, and follow-up opportunities.

Salary: $90,000+ annually (based on experience) + Performance Bonuses

Location: Indian Trail, NC

Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site

We are seeking an experienced Fence Estimator to join a well-established and growing construction company specializing in commercial, industrial, highway, and specialty fencing projects throughout the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids for commercial, industrial, and DOT fencing projects.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform material and labor quantity takeoffs using estimating software.
• Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate project scopes and pricing.
• Manage multiple bids, deadlines, and follow-up opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably in fencing, site work, civil construction, or related trades.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, estimating software, and bid preparation.
• Knowledge of commercial fencing systems, installation methods, and material pricing.
• DOT/public-agency estimating experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• $90,000+ base salary, depending on experience
