Challenge Unlimited in Mascoutah, IL is hiring a full-time Janitor at the I-64 Rest Stop. The schedule includes Monday 6am–2:30pm and Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday 2:30–11pm, with duties to clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.

The position requires a female janitor due to a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification. Applicants must pass background checks, be at least 21, have a valid driver's license, and be comfortable operating cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Pass federal and state background checks
• Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license
• Pass driving background checks
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Lift and carry up to 45 lbs
• Push and pull up to 45 lbs

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Manager.
• Clean, sanitize and restock bathrooms including sinks, toilets, glass and mirrors, stall walls, stainless steel areas
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and stairs
• Empty trash and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary
• Dust and clean office areas, desks and furniture that are not cluttered; clean windowsills and windows
• Clean break rooms and other contract areas
• Operate equipment safely and contribute to teamwork
• Conduct duties with focus on safety, quality and customer service
