Job Advert

We are seeking a passionate Relief Support Worker to join our dedicated team of Support Workers in the Corby Area.

Do you want to make a positive difference in people’s lives? Support work offers flexibility for those who find full or part-time positions challenging to commit to. As a Relief Support Worker, you can choose shifts based on your availability and the needs of the service.

Flexibility is key, as you may work a variety of shifts across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep-ins, and waking nights. Your adaptability is essential to meet the needs of those we support. The role can be challenging, so a positive mindset and a desire to improve the lives of individuals with learning disabilities are vital. You should be quick-thinking and have a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting individuals to live independently, including managing budgets, paying bills, housework, organizing appointments, and cooking healthy meals.
  • Building relationships to help individuals understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
  • Supporting community and social inclusion by helping individuals access local community events and develop life skills.
  • Providing personal care, such as prompting medication, assisting with bathing, showering, and bathroom needs. Not all roles involve high levels of personal care.

*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.

Vacancy ID: 33265

  • 24 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time) and benefits including pension and holiday buying options.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • A supportive, inclusive work environment where your contributions are valued.

*Terms and conditions apply based on your contract.
