Responsibilities

If you’ve been complimented on your maintenance skills, we have the perfect job for you! The largest spa in the world currently has an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician II—requiring at least 1 year of experience in a commercial setting and the ability to work independently.

This mid-level position allows you to utilize your working knowledge of commercial electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, and HVAC. Supervisors would describe you as a jack of all trades, capable of tasks ranging from patching sheetrock to repairing cabinetry.

The Particulars

• Maintain and repair doors, cabinetry, and millwork
• Maintain pools and surrounding areas
• Maintain lighting through bulb replacement and occasional fixture or ballast replacement
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Painting/Roofing

Compensation: $18.00 per hour.

Schedule (Days & Hours): Sunday - Thursday; 7 AM - 3:30 PM or 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Qualifications

Certification/License: Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Experience: One to two years of general maintenance experience is required; one year of commercial maintenance technician work is preferred. Must possess knowledge of carpentry, tiling, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, heating, cooling, roofing, painting, and related building trades. Ability to learn or perform pool and spa care and gym equipment maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must meet Canyon Ranch's standards of excellence, ensuring the best guest experience. Good communication and writing skills are essential. Ability to work flexibly, independently, and under pressure with deadlines. Capable of solving practical problems and interpreting various instructions. Knowledge of safety regulations and a safety-conscious attitude are required.
