Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Meriden, KS is hiring a female in-home caregiver to support a client with Dementia/Alzheimer's. Weekday and weekend shifts are available, with pay of $15.00–$17.00 per hour depending on experience and potential to grow into full-time hours.

Responsibilities include non-medical support, personal care, memory support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and safe mobility. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with clients diagnosed with Dementia or Alzheimer's is required.
• Female caregiver (BOFQC based on personal care needs).
• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Strong work ethic, patience, reliability, and excellent communication skills.

Female In-Home Caregiver - Weekday & Weekend Shifts Available

Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)

Job Type: Part-Time (Weekday & Weekend shifts available, with potential to grow into full-time hours)

Schedules Available:

• Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (20 hrs/week)
• Saturday – Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (8 hrs/week) (Work either shift schedule, or combine both for 28 hours/week!)

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care & Hygiene: Assist with daily bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene needs safely and with dignity.
• Memory Support & Companionship: Provide patient, warm engagement, redirecting techniques, and continuous safety oversight.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious midday meals tailored to daily preferences.
• Exercise Assistance: Support gentle, guided daily mobility and exercise routines.
• Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.

Role Requirements
