StaffMED Health Partners is collaborating with a rapidly growing one-of-a-kind Neuroscience Institute in the Chicagoland area, where there singular goal is to provide world-class neurosciences care through an innovative, personalized approach for patients in Chicagoland and beyond. We are actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Sleep Surgeon to join our dynamic, complex multidisciplinary subspecialty team. The ideal candidate will have specialized training in surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and related sleep disorders, and be committed to excellence in patient care, innovation, and collaborative practice. They will be tasked with running the multi-disciplinary sleep rounds with our pulmonology, neurology, Oral maxillofacial surgery, general otolaryngology and other sleep medicine specialties. They will be part of the general ENT on-call schedule, and will still be tasked to see some general ENT patients. Candidate will also be a part of an active publishing team and will have access to significant resources for research.

Practice Highlights /Qualifications:
- Provide advanced surgical treatments for patients with obstructive sleep apnea and related upper airway disorders.
- Perform a wide range of procedures including, but not limited to, Inspire hypoglossal nerve stimulation, UPPP, septoplasty, nasal and palatal procedures, as well as other general ENT procedures
- Collaborate closely with sleep medicine physicians, pulmonologists, otolaryngologists, oral maxillofacial surgeons and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in the development of sleep surgery protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to academic and community teaching, research, and training if affiliated with a teaching hospital or academic center.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
- Fellowship training in Sleep Surgery is required.
- Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The 509-bed campus is a comprehensive stroke center and represents one of the largest facilities in northern suburbs of Chicago and the largest campus within the Health System. The newly opened Neurosciences Center will grow to integrate and house a full suite of 43 physicians and 174 providers with state-of-the art ORs equipped with the latest in innovative navigation technology.
