Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University is seeking a fellowship-trained Hand Surgeon to join our Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in St. Louis. You will build a high-volume hand and upper-extremity practice within a Level I Trauma Center, with strong referral networks and advanced technology.

The role features a 90% clinical and 10% academic allocation, with opportunities to expand research and teaching alongside experienced Hand Surgeons in a university-based setting.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and board eligibility or certification.
• Completion of Hand/Upper Extremity Fellowship.
• Missouri medical licensure eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hand and upper-extremity care in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Perform hand/upper-extremity surgical procedures.
• Participate in outpatient clinics and ASC activities.
• Engage in teaching, mentoring, and academic activities with students and residents.
• Participate in research and scholarly activities as interests allow.
• Share hand surgery call coverage.
