Job summary

IVI RMA North America is seeking a Fellowship Coordinator in Basking Ridge, NJ. The role supports day-to-day fellowship operations, liaises with fellows, faculty, and hospitals, and ensures compliance with ACGME and NRMP.

The position is full-time with a 8:30am-4:30pm schedule and a potential hybrid arrangement after training. At least 3 years in a similar role and strong computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years practical experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate’s degree required.
• Excellent computer skills; 25 wpm typing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conference calls and monitor Fellows’ progress.
• Support the Fellowship Director in program tasks.
• Maintain program compliance with NRMP, ACGME, ABOG and ERAS systems.
• Liaise between fellows, program director and local hospitals.
• Develop knowledge of ACGME policies and requirements.
• Assist in accreditation and educational programming for fellows.

IVI RMA North America has a need for a Fellowship Coordinator working out of our Basking Ridge, NJ location working from 8:30am-4:30pm. This can be a hybrid role after training is completed.

Job Purpose:

Fellowshipprograms require a lead administrative person, frequently referred to as a program coordinator. The Fellowship Specialist, or Fellowship Program Coordinator, will frequently manage the day-to-day operations of the program and serve as an important liaison and facilitator between the learners, faculty, and other staff members, and the ACGME. Individuals serving in this role are recognized as program coordinators by the ACGME. The Program Coordinators will have additional responsibilities, beyond those directly related to program administration, including, but not limited to, departmental administrative responsibilities, medical school clerkships, planning lectures that are not solely intended for the accredited program, and mandatory reporting for entities other than the ACGME.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Conducts and coordinates conference calls, and checks/reviews the Fellows’ work and progress on activities.
• Supports the Fellowship Director in completing all tasks as it relates to the fellowship program.
• Maintains the program and ensures compliance with the NRMP, ACGME, ABOG and ERAS systems.
• Serves as a liaison between the fellow, program director and local hospitals.
• Develops in-depth knowledge of the ACGME and Program Requirements, including policies and procedures.
• Assists the program director in meeting accreditation requirements, educational programming, and support of fellows.

Academic Training:

• Bachelor's Degree – preferred

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 3+ years practical experience working in a similar position.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent computer skills required, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Must do 25 wpm on keyboard.
