SERVPRO Team Shaw - Field Inventory Specialist

SERVPRO Team Shaw is one of the largest SERVPRO franchises in the country, with 27 locations and a growth of 10x over the last 3 years. We offer comprehensive services including water and fire emergency response, content moving and storage, textile cleaning, and reconstruction. Job Overview

As a Field Inventory Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to restore properties and lives, making fire and water damage "Like it never even happened." We value training and development, offering certifications and licenses to enhance your skills. Our expansion into four markets nationally reflects our commitment to growth and excellence.

Responsibilities
  1. Travel to client homes and job sites to assess contents after damage
  2. Photograph, categorize, and document items to inventory damaged contents
  3. Determine salvageable versus non-salvageable items according to industry standards
  4. Use digital inventory software to log findings and generate reports
  5. Communicate effectively with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and project managers
  6. Handle items with care, especially in emotionally sensitive situations
  7. Assist with pack-out and pack-back procedures when required
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in environments affected by fire, water, mold, or debris
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
  • Tech-savvy with experience using tablets, inventory systems, and photo documentation apps
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Experience in restoration, inventory, or moving is a plus
