Job summary

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a dependable Yard Maintenance Technician for a progressive cattle feeding operation in the Central Plains. This hands-on role involves operating heavy equipment, welding, fencing, plumbing, and general yard upkeep to keep a large agricultural operation running efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, good work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, graders, skid steers, or similar machinery.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred.
• General knowledge of plumbing, fencing, carpentry, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment used throughout the feedyard.
• Clean, repair feed bunks and livestock watering systems.
• Install, repair, and relocate fencing as needed.
• Dig trenches and install or repair water lines.
