Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience in feedmill, agricultural, or heavy equipment setting preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with boilers, flakers, steam systems, or electrical systems is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate feedmill machinery to produce high-quality feed rations as scheduled.
• Monitor and utilize computer systems to batch feed accurately and track performance.
• Perform daily inspections of machinery to identify wear or maintenance issues before failures occur.
• Assist with upkeep and cleanliness of the feedmill and safe organization of tools and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of feeding ingredients and inventory levels.
• Ensure adherence to EPA, FDA, and OSHA standards.
• Communicate effectively with Feedmill Manager and crew members to ensure consistent operations.
• Support additional tasks as needed to support feedmill and yard operations.
