Sabert Corporation is hiring for a rotating night shift position (6 PM–6 AM) to perform feeder and packer duties in our food packaging plant. The role alternates between feeding paper blanks into machines, sorting, and packing clamshell or fry cartons while inspecting for quality and glue integrity.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, packaging experience preferred, and the ability to work in a fast-paced facility wearing required PPE.
A feeder/packer will interchange functions depending on the business needs. Feeder is responsible for feeding paper blanks in machines and sorting. Packer is responsible for packing clamshell or fry cartons, inspecting product for quality, ensuring product is properly glued.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be dependable and a team player, ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, internal quality procedures, and machine operating procedures. Ability to communicate production and machine issues to supervisors and others in work area. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment around machinery. Basic mathematics (i.e. counting), basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may continuously use hands and fingers to position, and arms to reach. The employee may frequently bend and move about the work area. The employee may occasionally remain in a stationary position, ascend/descend steps, push and pull, and communicate. The employee may occasionally move and position up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
